The Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter is a busy place and we are always looking to add volunteers to our group! Volunteers play a key role in shelters with helping us to care for the animals here. Some volunteer duties may include: dog walking, cleaning kennels, sweeping/mopping, taking pictures, answering the phone, and assisting with customers. By choosing to volunteer you will be making a difference in the lives of the unwanted and lost animals that come to our shelter. We are in the process of getting a brand new shelter that will allow us to house more animals and be more efficient in our daily operations.
