Thursday, March 14, 2019, Titus County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a Narcotic Search Warrant and Felony Arrest Warrant in the 2000 Block of County Road 3150 in Cookville.
Upon entry to the location, deputies located the suspected person, 61-year old Billy Ray Rosewell Jr., and placed him into custody for the arrest warrant charge of Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 >4 grams<200 grams, a First Degree Felony.
Deputies continued clearing and securing the location and located 53-year old Ross Franklin Gilmore Jr. inside the residence at which time he was detained. A search was then conducted and deputies located drug paraphernalia and narcotics at the location.
As a result of the search, Billy Ray Rosewell Jr. was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 >4 gram<200 grams, a Second Degree Felony. Ross Franklin Gilmore Jr. was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <1 gram, a State Jail Felony.
Both individuals were transported to Titus County Jail and booked on charges.
