New shed for NTCC ag students

First project for NTCC ag students students this spring is a new new growshed. Designed from carport frame with metal and polycarb (plastic) sheet covering. Although not exactly like this pinterest picture it gives you the idea.

It will serve as a chick brooder, goat kidding and loafing station and greenhouse to temper or plants before transplanting them into the garden this spring. The concept is copied from Polyface farms type of multipurpose sheds that are more productive and sustainable.

The shed will be tied into existing solar water and electric outlets, and it will produce several sources of revenue and be great to work in on a cold day! Continuing Ed short courses on how to build the same on your farm will begin in February.
