This week Caroline Rutledge, Executive Director of Titus County Cares, gave the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club updates on the four core programs at TCC.
Food Pantry- provides nutritious food in emergency situations.
Food4Kids- provides a bag of weekend food for students to fill the gap between Friday and Monday. Cares4Kids- sponsorship program helping children with school supplies, clothes, food, and lots more.
Titus County Reads- supplies books and pairs a volunteer to read with a 1st grader for 30 minute each week.
How amazing are each of these programs? To think this organization was formed May 2005 as a result of the Ministerial Alliance (a group of pastors who met monthly and saw the need) Later combining nine locations into a 6,250 SF building we now know as TCC Resource Center.
