Rotary Youth Leadership

On the left from Mount Pleasant High School, from L to R, Tripp Hinton, Nuvia Chavez, and Blanca Antolin, and on the right from Chapel Hill High School from L to R Emily Coyote and Vivi Mancia. On the far right is Chapel Hill graduate and now UT-Austin student Bailey Hall who returned for her third year at RYLA to be a Team Leader this year.
The Mount Pleasant Rotary Club dropped off its Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) students at Camp. They will be at lunch on Tuesday 2/27 to tell us about their experience this weekend.

RYLA students attend camp with HS Juniors from across Northeast Texas and southern Oklahoma. During the weekend at Clements Scout Camp, students work in groups to learn leadership and team building through challenge events on a high ropes course. They also encounter relational and personal development opportunities that can last a lifetime.
