Continuing Education plans travel course
The NTCC Continuing Education Department is planning a spring travel course to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum on Thursday, April 5.
Participants will travel by motor coach to Dallas to spend an exciting morning on a guided tour of the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, where the “Dallas Blooms: A World of Flowers” display explodes with color from the 500,000 spring blossoming bulbs.
Next, journey to the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, where the life and career of the nation’s 43rd president is housed. The museum offers an in-depth look at eight years of American history, the American presidency and has many interactive displays on various aspects of public policy. Travelers will enjoy lunch on their own at Café 43 or the Courtyard Café at the library.
The bus will depart from the Super 1 parking lot in Mount Pleasant at 7:30 a.m. on April 5. It will return around 6 p.m. Early bird registration, which ends March 8, is only $79 per person. Registration after March 8 is $89 per person. Space is limited, so please sign up early. The price includes transportation and tickets to both venues.
