Mary Helen Love passed away on February 8, 2018 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was born on August 15, 1928 to Sam Johnson and Velver Hodge Johnson in Morris County, Texas.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, E.L. Love; her daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Dr. G.B. Taylor; daughter and son-in-law Sue and Handy Stansell; grandchildren Laura and Scott Brown, Amy Stansell, Stacy and Chad Elledge, Chad and Kelly Taylor, Mandy Stansell; great grandchildren Ashlyn Brown, Parker Laing, Daniel Taylor, Daniel Taylor, MaKenzie Taylor, Allie and Calvin Robards, Corey Dublin, Kaitie and David Groze; 3 great great grandchildren; brother Ed Johnson, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Judy Johnson, brother and sister-in-law Houston and Margaret Johnson; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Felton Belcher, sister Velma Smith; and her special friend Linda Parrish.
Mary Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM with the service to follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
