Obituary - Alton Johnny McBeth

Alton Johnny McBeth, 92, passed away on February 6, 2018 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was born on October 22, 1925 to Dan Emory McBeth and Willie Bill Curtis McBeth in Rising Star, Texas.
Alton was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of First Baptist Church Mount Pleasant.
He is survived by his wife Billie Jean McBeth, granddaughter Samantha Sellers and her husband Mark Gable; grandson Jacob Sellers and wife Crystal; great grandchildren Lilly Harkness, Dominik Harkness, Jocelyn Harkness, Mark Gable, Jr. and Jace Sellers; nephews Jackie McBeth and Steve Allen; and sister Susan McBeth Poole. Alton was preceded in death by his first wife Joy McBeth; daughter Sheri Sellers; and brother Arneil McBeth.
A visitation for Alton will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home. A service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Masonic Cemetery.
