MPHS Junior Audrey Courreges took 1st place in the Lions Club District 2X-2 Outstanding Student competition. Sponsored by the Mt. Pleasant Lions Club, she will represent District 2X-2 at the Lions Club State Convention in Corpus Christi May 24-26.
Audrey and her mother, Catherine, were special guests at the January 25th Mt. Pleasant Lions Club meeting where she talked to the Club about her background, school activities, community service project and her plans after high school graduation.
