On Saturday, July 16, 2016, the Titus County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 500 block of Titus County Road 1820 in regards to a deceased person found at the location. Titus County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased to be Melva Sue Bond, age 71. Titus County Sheriff’s Office investigated the death which led to an arrest warrant being issued for George Bond, age 75.
Titus County Sheriff’s Office arrested George Bond on Monday, July 18, 2016 for the 1st degree felony Murder of Melva Sue Bond.
