The suspect ran when he spotted officers. While looking for the suspect a caller reported seeing the naked man get into a truck just off the downtown square.
Officers located the truck and stopped the vehicle at Washington and Cotton St.
Upon contact with the suspect he was found not to have any clothes on. When asked why he was out in public naked the suspect responded, “I’m drunk.”
Officers arrested 55-year old David Ben McKinney of Titus County. McKinney was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Titus County Jail.
His bail was set at $1,500.
