FM 1402 and Greenhill Road closed due to high water

The Sugar Hill Volunteer Fire Department reports that as of noon Friday parts of FM 1402 are underwater and the road is starting to wash away.

The Sugar Hill Volunteer Fire Department reports FM 1402 at the White Oak Creek bottoms has been closed to all traffic due to flooding. TxDOT and DPS officially closed it at approximately 1:20 p.m. Friday. Greenhill road is also closed due to flooding.

The only way into the Sugar Hill area is via 271 to 71 or 259 to 71.
