Pair make return appearance in jail
Friday evening, Feb. 12th, Titus County Deputies arrested 45-year old Phil Lester Harris and 34-year old Kimberly Reneagh Harris, both of Titus County.
Each was arrested on felony warrants for two counts of Endangering a Child.
Both Phil and Kimberly Harris were arrested a week ago on Feb. 5th, for Delivery or Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, after deputies executing a search warrant at their home, discovered approximately 4.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine.
The felony arrest warrants served Friday stem from evidence surfacing that children from the household had been exposed to methamphetamine, resulting in investigators seeking the warrants for Endangering a Child.
The couple were apprehended on FM 2348 near the intersection of U.S. Highway 67 and were transported to the Titus County Jail without incident.
Titus County Sheriff's Office would like remind the public that children present where illegal narcotics such as methamphetamine are manufactured or used, are at great risk of exposure to the substance.
