Lowe's helps the community

Managers and employees of the Lowe's Regional Distribution Center were at four are food banks Friday from approximately 3-6 p.m. delivering meals.

In Mount Pleasant, Lowe's donated 300 boxes of food along with a turkey to over 60 Food Pantry clients. Lowe's employees were on hand to pass the food out to some very grateful members of the community.

Their team even delivered about 30 boxes to homes of people who were unable to come to pick them up.

Families receiving meals were previously identified and notified by the food bank. Other food banks visited by the Lowe's employees were in Mount Vernon, Clarksville and Sulphur Sorings
