The Mount Pleasant Police Honor Guard attended the funeral of Panola County Deputy Chris Dickerson Saturday with other law enforcement from across the State and Nation.
Mount Pleasant Police Chief Isbell met with Krista Dickerson and her family representing the Texas Police Chiefs Association and The East Texas 100 Club. Both organizations provide immediate financial support to help families faced with a line of duty death. Condolences from our City was also given.
Deputy Dickerson was a true hero who loved his family, served this nation and enjoyed law enforcement. God speed.
