Congratulations to Ms. Janice Allen for being selected as the Adult Education Program at Northeast Texas Community College Teacher of the Month for November 2019. Janice is an ESL Instructor at the Mt. Pleasant Community Resource Center. She received a gift certificate to Kasseigh’s.
Below is what Janice had to say about the program:
"Working with the Adult Education Program has afforded me the opportunity to effect change in the day to day lives of our students. The program allows the students a greater element of success in their jobs, community involvement, and local schools. Observing the student progress through the levels of this program is rewarding in itself, but to encounter them in and around the community and see the lessons put into practice lets us know that the efforts of this program are not in vain."
