Stedman moving on

At the Mount Pleasant-Titus County Chamber of Commerce board meeting held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, President & CEO Katie Stedman provided her official resignation to the board. Stedman has served in this role at the Chamber for nearly four years and is stepping down to pursue other professional endeavors.

At the board meeting, the board members officially nominated a search committee comprised of current and former board members as well as representatives of the Chamber membership. The board also approved hiring an executive search firm who will be managing the search for Stedman’s replacement.

Stedman has stated that she will remain as flexible as possible in terms of her final day on the job in order to help ensure a smooth transition and to offer as much support as possible to both the board and the staff over the next several weeks.
