Lone Star Ag Credit Welcomes Todd Reed to Mount Pleasant office

Lone Star Ag Credit recently named Todd Reed as a loan officer in the lending cooperative’s Mount Pleasant office. Reed, a native of Bowie County, will work one-on-one with ag producers, landowners, agribusinesses and other borrowers to provide customized financing.

Reed grew up on his family’s cattle operation in De Kalb and has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University.

"Todd was born and raised in this area, and he has strong roots in our agricultural community," said Barbara Golden, credit office president for the Paris, New Boston and Mount Pleasant offices. “He will be a tremendous asset to our team.”

Reed previously worked as a credit analyst at Lone Star Ag Credit’s corporate office in Fort Worth.

“It has always been my dream to return home, and I am excited for the next chapter of my career at Lone Star,” Reed said. “I appreciate the farm family and look forward to supporting them in their mission to feed the world.”

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Lone Star Ag Credit serves 48 Texas counties and has credit offices in Abilene, Cleburne, Corsicana, Denton, Fort Worth, Georgetown, Hillsboro, Lampasas, New Boston, Paris, Sherman, Stephenville, Sweetwater, Waco and Weatherford.
