It has been a very hard couple of weeks for our puppies from the shelter. We have had several that were pulled to go to a rescue but got sick before they could leave. Some have been hospitalized for several days.
They broke with parvo at their TCSF foster homes. It is an awful disease and takes a huge toll on puppies with already weakened immune systems that were dumped and had not had proper nutrition or veterinary care before coming to the shelter.
We lost one and several are still at clinics being treated. Their vet bills are several thousand dollars. This depletes our vet funds that are used on a daily basis for all shelter pets. All donations are tax deductible and every cent is used for care for the animals.
We are all volunteers and cannot do it without you, our supporters. Thanks in advance for helping these sweet fur babies.
