Tuesday the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter celebrated the retirement of Animal Control Officers Mark Smith. For 11 years Mark has been caring for the stray and unwanted animals in our area. "We are thankful for his service and his compassion when handling all animals. We wish him all the best in his retirement!"
