The Chapel Hill High School Art History class visited the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) on Friday, September 21, 2018. By the courtesy of the DMA, the class was given a private tour by Ms. Marilynn Willems.
The class greatly enjoyed the tour and the tour guide’s insights into the art. We were shown art from many different periods, such as the Impressionists and European Renaissance art. As well as the permanent exhibits, they also toured the commemorative exhibit for the main patron, Mrs. McDermott, who greatly contributed to the museum.
Overall the trip was a great experience for everyone involved.
