The Texarkana Police Department had a very productive joint SWAT training session with the Mount Pleasant Texas Police Department Wednesday. Both teams were placed in several different hostage rescue and barricaded subject scenarios that the other team created for them.
Training opportunities like this are a great way to share ideas between departments that will better prepare us both to handle these situations should they ever happen in our own communities.
