My name is Wesley McCollum, I'm running as an Independent Conservative Write In for Titus County Commissioner of Precinct 4.
Question: Why am I running for Commissioner?
Answer: When taxpayers voted for the URS "Unit Road System", our politicians had a choice, put their personal agenda first or do what their constituents voted for. They failed miserably, insubordination at its finest! I will put Titus county votes first. Write-in the right man for the right job.
Question: What experience do you have?
Answer: I've been owner/operator in multiple well-organized businesses for 13 years some were great successes and others were miserable failures. I've managed multiple employees for 27 years. I can work on equipment and run most of them. I'm computer savvy, I know how to read balance sheets, budgets, PLs, market research, alone with justifying and assessing assets and market research. Blessed to be Past Master of Temple Lodge #70. God Fearing and grounded Jesus Christ. Father of 4 wonderful children and married to my soulmate for 21 year. Too Blessed to be distressed!
Question: How can you make a difference?
Answer: Voters before my opinion or agenda. Justifiable expenses only. I will make a motion and/or second a motion to reduce commissioners’ salaries. Industrial expansion and tax abatement if necessary. No cronyism nor questionable business ethics while I'm Commissioner.
Titus county precinct 4 taxpayers: Don't give up 4 more years to a "Yes" man, in my opinion this is what has crippled our government from the largest to the smallest political entity.
