Stuck in the mud gets you stuck in jail

Early Saturday morning Titus County deputies responded to conduct a welfare check on a vehicle that had become stuck on Titus County Private Road 1627 a short distance from FM 2152. 
Upon arriving to the location, a deputy located 50-year old Ricky Glenn Jennings and 27-year old Michael Joseph Reichman with the stuck vehicle. Both men were residents of Titus County.
While the deputy identified both men, he observed what appeared to be methamphetamine in plain view inside the vehicle. During the investigation, the substance tested positive to be methamphetamine. As a result of the investigation, both men were placed under arrest.
Jennings was booked into the Titus County Jail for the 3rd Degree Felony Offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, Greater than 1 gram and less than 4 grams. Jennings was also charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
Reichman was booked into jail for the 3rd Degree Felony Offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, Greater than 1 gram and less than 4 grams. Reichman was additionally Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana, of an amount less than 2 oz., a misdemeanor.
