Obituary - Lou Dillard

Lou Ann Dillard of Heath, Texas passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.   She was born September 2nd 1950 in Pittsburg, Texas.

Lou Ann retired from the Garland ISD where she served for 37 years as a Kindergarten teacher. She was a member of the Garland Retired School Personnel and loved playing Bunco and Maj Jong. She was a member of the Skillman Avenue Church of Christ.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Fred Dillard of Heath, Texas; brother-in-law, Earl Dillard; nieces, Jan Garrett of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Louriee Palmer of Carthage, Texas and Caitlin Gilmore of Austin, Texas; one nephew, Johnny Dillard of Mount Vernon, Texas; great nieces and nephews, Chessie Mitchell, Taylor Palmer, Mitchell Palmer, Logan Dillard and Kayden Moss; great-great nephew, Callaway Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her mother, Montie Harkrider; sister, Sue Matthews; and her brother, Donald Cox.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2018 at the Masonic Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2018 at the Skillman Ave. Church of Christ, 3014 Skillman Ave. Dallas, Texas 75206. Interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
