The North and East Texas Press Association (NETPA) annual convention is being held in Granbury, Texas, April 5-7. Patricia and I have already made our reservations.
The convention concludes with the annual newspaper contest awards presentation. We got an email today from the NETPA that said, in part, "Please make plans to attend the convention and if you can't make the whole convention, please join us for the Awards Brunch on Saturday."
Which I know from past experience is their way of saying, "You need to show up at the luncheon because you won something."
