On Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, Titus Regional Medical Center - in collaboration with Region 8 Educational Service Center - hosted its first area Concussion Educational Conference.
This three hour seminar focused on the importance of recognizing the signs and symptoms of concussion in student athletes. With over 200 in attendance, the conference offered evidenced based education from Physician Medical Experts, a licensed trainer and one former NFL Football player regarding how these injuries occur, proper treatment and how that treatment can make a difference in the changing the lives of athletes.
