Mount Pleasant Police will be conducting a large-scale warrant roundup starting Thursday February 1st. This operation will target offenders who have chosen to ignore contacting the Municipal Court after receiving a citation.
Although officers look for wanted offenders daily, extra officers will be assigned to locate wanted individuals. To avoid being arrested at home, work or even while driving, you should look to see if your name is listed for arrest. Those who choose to ignore making a disposition on a citation will go to jail.
Court officials will have extra staff on hand next week to help those who want to resolve their warrants. The Mount Pleasant Municipal Court is located at 501 N. Madison on the north side of City Hall.
