Commercial Motor Vehicles Enforcement

Mount Pleasant Police are looking for moving violations committed by Commercial Motor Vehicles.

 The objective of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement is to reduce commercial motor vehicle accidents through the enforcement of city ordinances and state laws; to protect the city streets and state highways from unnecessary damage by securing compliance with the use of truck routes; to protect the rights, privileges, and safety of the general public in the use of the city streets and public highway system by securing compliance with traffic laws and regulations applicable to the operation of all vehicles.

If you observe one of these vehicles not using a commercial vehicle truck route, parked in a neighborhood, or driving recklessly, please call the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 903-575-4004.
