Titus County Sheriff’s Office Recover Stolen Guns


On Sunday October 30th, 2017, Titus County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a residential burglary in the Liberty Hill Community on CR 3220. Residents had discovered that numerous firearms had been stolen from the residence while they weren't home..
Sheriff’s Investigators began to sift through a few leads and were ultimately able to identify three adults and one juvenile that investigators believed were responsible for the burglary
38 year old Jennifer Lynn Brownlee, of Talco, was arrested on Friday November 3rd, 2017 and was released on a $25,000.00 bond the next day.
A juvenile resident of Mount Pleasant was also arrested in connection with the burglary on Friday November 3rd.
36 year old Latoya Kimasuan Nixon of Mount Pleasant, was also arrested for Burglary of a Habitation.
A felony warrant for Burglary of a Habitation has also been issued for 47 year old Talco Resident Rondrix Darnell Gee, who remains at large as of this date.Titus County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Rondrix Gee at this time.
Titus County Sheriff’s investigators were able to recover several firearms from Talco, Camp County, and Mount Pleasant, leaving only a tranquilizer gun remaining missing from the burglary. Anyone with information regarding the location of the tranquilizer gun they believe might be connected to this case, are asked to notify the Sheriff’s Office with the information.
An individual adjudged guilty of a felony of the second degree shall be punished by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for any term of not more than 20 years or less than 2 years.
