Our random 1980s photo for today has five guys and a vehicle. We conjecture this may have something to do with the automotive program at NTCC. Anyone know any better?
That is exactly what it is. We were on the steering committee that got the automotive program accepted at NTCC in conjunction with MPH as a continuation program with 2 years at each instead of 2 years at MPH then 4 years at NTCC.
I was in the automotive mechanics class at MPHS 86-87 , didn't Sandlin donate an Elcamino to MPHS program around that time also, I remember being excited to get to work on something that new at the time.
Yes they did, I worked closely with GM engineers and was able to procure several vehicles. We donated some to the highschool and some to the college so the students could real hands on experience.

ReplyDeleteThis is also a vehicle that I presented to NTCC on behalf of Chevrolet and Bob Sandlin.
