Mrs. Reynolds's English I PreAP class celebrated Halloween with a tea party. The class is currently reading Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird", and a pivotal scene in the novel hinges on the events that take place during a Ladies Missionary Circle tea party.
Students were allowed to dress up as their favorite character from the novel and enjoy sweet tea and 1930's treats while discovering the surprising events of this chapter.
Although dressing up was not mandatory, several students chose to research fashion choices of the 1930's and entertain their fellow classmates with a style show of their own.
