Newest addition

Jim Bob White and Scott Glover bringing home Mid America Flight Museum's newest addition. A 1943 Cessna Bobcat better known by it's military moniker, the "Bamboo Bomber."

These aircraft played a vital roll as multi-engine trainers for the WASP pilots of World War II. After learning to fly in the Bamboo Bomber, they could readily step up to ferry other multi-engine Warbirds where they were needed..

We are sure we will be seeing a lot more of this plane soon and will be sharing more information along the way.We are excited to have such a remarkable piece of history that is associated with these amazing women aviators from WWII.
