MPISD earns distinctions in accountability ratings



The MPISD has earned a total of 16 academic distinctions in the state accountability this year!  All MPISD campuses earned the rating of “Met Standard” in the Texas Education Agency’s recently released accountability ratings.

Mount Pleasant High School earned 6 academic distinctions in the areas of: Math, Science, Social Studies, Student Progress, Closing the Achievement Gap, and Post-Secondary Readiness.  Vivian Fowler Elementary earned 4 academic distinctions in the areas of: Reading/Language Arts, Student Progress, Closing the Achievement Gap, and Post-Secondary Readiness.  Frances Corprew Elementary earned two academic distinctions in the areas of: Math and Student Progress.

Annie Sims Elementary-Closing the Achievement Gap, Post-Secondary Readiness
E.C. Brice Elementary-Student Progress
