Houston Hurricane Harvey Evacuee Finds Enjoyment at Mid America Flight Museum

The Mid America Flight Museum was treated by a visit with Frank Herbert, who is a former Air Force Flight Instructor. Frank hopped a ride in the Museum's AT6/SNJ and took right to flying it like it had only been yesterday. 

"We really appreciate Frank's service," said Scott Glover.

Frank said he turned down an offer of a flying job for American Airlines, choosing instead to complete his Masters Degree. He said he has mixed feelings about the decision but said he probably made the right one.

Interestingly, his son had hopped a ride in the museum's T28B in Urbana Ohio, the year before last.

"We sincerely hope Frank's situation works but we are quite certain the flight in this warbird was a bright spot in his day," said Glover.
