The Mount Pleasant Police Department will have a Public Safety Booth at Walmart (2311 S. Jefferson) this Friday (June 23rd ) from 10 am to 2 pm. Members of the department will be presenting information on child safety seats - who needs one and who does not and how to properly fit the seat to the child.
Other areas that will be covered are traffic safety, crime prevention techniques, and protecting yourself from scams.
The booth will be located inside the store near the women’s clothing area. Come join the fun at Walmart this Friday and meet some of the Mount Pleasant Police Department Staff.
