Mount Pleasant Cinema 6 would like to remind the public about its R rated policy since it will have two new movies coming out Friday with this rating. Its policy is posted at the theater as well for anyone with any questions about it.
In order to purchase a ticket for an R rated movie you must be 17 with an ID. Ages 17-20 are only allowed to purchase their one ticket and MUST have a picture ID. Anyone 21 or over with an ID may purchase more than one ticket.
However, anyone purchasing more than one ticket for an R rated movie must be watching the movie as well and must be the parent or guardian of those under 21 that they are purchasing tickets for.
Also, any tickets purchased online must be scanned in the box office and at this time an ID will be required as well so make sure before purchasing online, that you have the ID to actually get the tickets at box office.
