Voter registration deadline

 City Council candidate Danny Muskrat wants to remind everyone that today (Thursday, April 6) is the deadline to register to vote if you want to vote in the May 6, 2017, city council election. State law stipulates you have to be registered voter for at least 30 days before an election.

You can register in person at the County Elections office at 110 S. Madison St. across from the post office. It's open until 5 p.m. today.
