Ladies Firearms Safety Course planned
Sheriff Tim C. Ingram says it is time to begin the next Ladies only Firearms Safety / Training Course hosted by the Titus County Sheriff’s Office.
The date of the course is set for Saturday, May 13, 2017 and will start at 8:30 a.m.
"Before we start the actual classes, we need all persons interested to contact the Sheriff’s Office and speak with myself or Lieutenant Chris Bragg to obtain an application," says Ingram. "Remember you will need to have your own handgun with a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition. If you own hearing and eye protection, please bring it with you to the course."
"You will be instructed by certified firearms instructors and at the end of the day you will be required to clean your firearm. If you need, we will teach you how to properly clean your firearm. All you need to bring is yourself, your weapon and ammunition, and we will supply everything else."
If you are interested, please contact the Titus County Sheriff's Office for an application as soon as possible.
