The Mount Pleasant Police Department is encouraging drivers not to drive intoxicated. Officers are always on the lookout for intoxicated drivers.
Tonight (Friday) there will be teams of officers working the streets only enforcing traffic laws. If you're suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs expect to be arrested. Thecommunity has zero tolerance for this type of behavior.
Be responsible and have a designated driver.
