Mount Pleasant Fugitive Captured - One Still At Large

Two Mount Pleasant twin 17-year-old brothers had been hiding from law enforcement for several weeks. The brothers are identified as Isaac William McGill and Isaiah Glyn McGill, both from Mount Pleasant.

Mount Pleasant Police arrested 17-year-old Isaac William McGill late in the evening on February 23rd after receiving an anonymous tip of where he was hiding. McGill had a burglary of a habitation warrant for his arrest.

Both Mount Pleasant Police and United States Marshals Service had been searching for the two brothers. Isaac McGill was considered armed and dangerous until he was captured Thursday. Isaac was arrested without incident after he was seen running from an abandoned trailer inside Mount Pleasant.

Both brothers knew they were wanted and have been moving from location to location in attempt to avoid apprehension.


The McGill brothers have an extensive criminal past. They are under investigation for other criminal offenses in Mount Pleasant. Since Isaac McGill’s arrest, investigators have information that the family is encouraging Isaiah McGill to avoid arrest.

Isaiah McGill is believed to have been moving and hiding from law enforcement in Hughes Springs, Daingerfield, Pittsburg, Mount Pleasant and Talco. The public needs to be vigilant in knowing what Isaiah McGill looks like.

MPPD needs the public's help in getting this fugitive into custody. The public is encouraged to call 911 if you see this person. Do not approach.
