There are national reports of 911 system outages. Mount Pleasant uses AT&T 911 services who is reporting this issue. The county wide system is operational. The Mount Pleasant Police Department is monitoring its system and national reports.
If you call 911 and find it does not work, please call the non-emergency number. Regular phone lines are not effected.
The Mount Pleasant PD non-emergency line is 903-575-4004.
Again, 911 is operational.
