Wednesday morning Titus County Commissioners voted unanimously to hire Roger Ledbetter as the first Titus County Road Engineer.
His employment package includes $80,000 in annual compensation plus three weeks vacation and reimbursement of actual business mileage.
Ledbetter has accepted this offer and assumes his new position on April 3rd. He lives locally and retired last year as the TXDOT district engineer, with over 30 years of road design and construction experience.
