The Mt. Pleasant High School Swim Team competed in the Region 4 5A Championship Swim Meet February 3rd and 4th in Lewisville.
The Girls 200-yard Medley Relay team of Emily Brown, Lily Grace Jones, Ariel Parr and Anna Elliot placed in the top 6 out of 8 teams. They also placed 8th in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay.
Emily Brown took the 4th place ribbon in the Finals of the 100-yard Butterfly and placed 8th in the finals of the 50-yard Freestyle. Ariel Parr placed 5th in the consolation finals in the 100-yard Butterfly.
Luke Scoggin placed 6th in the 100-yard Butterfly in the consolation finals. Ty Hearron swimming in the consolation finals took the 6th place ribbon in the 100-yard Backstroke and placed 7th in the 100-yard Freestyle.
“The swimmers did a fabulous this weekend and represented Mt. Pleasant High School in a spectacular manner,” said MPHS Swim Coach Echo Johnson.
