This little fellow was found wandering on North Jefferson Saturday morning in such an awful condition.

There was no place on his body that was not covered in horrible mats. His eyes were completely covered.

He was quickly picked up by the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter staff to help get him to safety and get him help.

Off he went with a TCSF volunteer to visit Dr Katy Coe Heintz at Robertson Robertson-Heintz Veterinary Services who spent over an hour helping find the dog underneath all that mass of tangled hair.

He is now resting comfortably back at the shelter in his new Petsense sweatshirt and enjoying attention and love from everyone!
