Although volleyball season is over, accolades for the Lady Tigers continue to roll in.
Seniors Taylor Craig and Krissa Woods have been named, by the Texas Girls Coaches Association, to the Academic All-State Team. To qualify for this award, these two young ladies had to maintain a grade average of 94 or better for their entire high school career, all while playing volleyball and being involved in several other activities.
"This is a VERY high honor that goes to show they are not only great athletes, but even better students!" said Volleyball Coach Jeremy Stewart. "Please say a quick congratulations if you see them! We are very proud of both Krissa and Taylor, and they will be sorely missed next year!"
