Just what Mount Pleasant needs

This was the view Wednesday from the parking lot of the Pik 'n Pay convenience store on Jefferson St. The store was first off the mark to take advantage of the approval of the Nov. 8 referendum allowing the retail sale of beer and wine in Mount Pleasant, and after getting the appropriate licensing started sales.

Now in addition to logging trucks ruining county roads we will have beer trucks ruining city streets.
