New doctor joins Titus Regional
Titus Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. William W. Hooks Jr. to its health system. Dr. Hooks is a native of Mount Pleasant and he and his wife Heather have one daughter.
Dr. Hooks served as an active duty Naval Officer, including two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as leadership responsibilities as the Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune.
Prior to his arrival to Titus Regional, he was a staff Anesthesiologist at Paris Regional Medical Center. Previous responsibilities included all facets of anesthesiology care to include cardiac, vascular, orthopedic, ENT, gynecology, obstetrics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and general surgery.
Additional areas of expertise include acute pain management services and consultative services to Emergency and ICU departments for invasive line placement, as well as airway and ventilator management.
