The Titus County Sheriff's Office had a jail clergy class Saturday morning, with 35 in attendance.
Jail Lt. Michael Garcia said "This class is for all returning and new clergy that are participating in the jail ministry."
This class covered dangers, rules, situations, and the PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act).
"A special thanks to our agency Chaplain, Dave Anderson, at Calvary Chapel in Mt. Pleasant for hosting this class," said Garcia.
