Information sought on suspicious person

The Titus County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in identifying a suspicious person and vehicle.

On Sunday afternoon, October 16th, , an unidentified white male stopped at a residence in the northeast portion of Titus County. Reportedly the male subject was alone and was driving a white Toyota Corolla. The Toyota is described as being about a 2010 model with several dents in it.

The lone occupant of the vehicle is described as being approximately 60 years old with eyeglasses. He was reportedly wearing a white dress shirt with grey slacks.

Reportedly, the man did not go to the entrance door and did not knock or ring the door bell. The residents observed him walking beside their residence in an unusual fashion.

When the residents confronted the person, he said he was there to invite the residents to a "new church" that had recently started and he handed out a "green flyer" with a photograph of presumably a minister on the front, that was not the same man. The resident is now unable to locate the flyer that was handed out. The resident reported that the subject did not go to the next house to them and had not stopped at other neighbors.

Titus County Sheriff's Investigators desire to identify the man and vehicle described by the resident. If anyone has any information regarding this person or a church that has recently handed out green flyers etc, please contact the Sheriff's Office at (903) 572-6641 and ask to speak with an investigator.
